House Martin nest extension

It seems that even the birds have been affected by the credit crunch and are following the 'Don't move - improve' strategy.

Here's a photo showing what our regular visiting House Martins have done this year - they've added an extra floor to the nestbox I put up for them last year!

And they've even incorporated a section of our TV aerial so I'm guessing the extension is a TV room

I'm going to have to put ther rent up

haha that's ace! I wish we had House Martins nesting. When you put House Martin nests up do they have to be in a certain height and position? I don't know whether our house would be suitable.
