White spleckled breast, but brown feather patches curve in from under armpits if ya get me lol! Buzzards have a quite pronounced hooked beak too, just like kestrels.

I do ... just! I found it very hard to see the armpit markings and there was no sense of size whic would have told me. Yes, buzzards do have hooked beaks too *g*. |

Looks very much like a buzzard to me too. Bet he's glad of those feathers at that point !!!

Buzzard for sure I think.
Have a look at the kestrels webcam at LIVE Wildlife Webcam : Watch a Kestrel Nestbox WebCam in Dorset Good pictures and video of them on the page as well, should help with ID. |

Ta for link, shall add to my Owl one for H&O trust - they're owlets are doing well too
It was the fuzzy pic and lack of scale that threw me most in my friend's pic - and she had no idea to give me. Will be getting my eye in I hope over next few months | | |
