tree creeper

hi everybody,

had a tree creeper in my garden this week.very close to nottingham city centre,how unusual is this?

I think it's unusual, especially if you don't have any trees in your garden I take it there is a tree in yours.
We used to get them when we had three fully grown Ash trees in our back garden but they were cut down for safety reason a few years ago, none since.

Treecreepers are widespread and common pretty much throughout the UK, so anywhere with suitable habitat should have them. If you've got mature trees nearby that's ideal.
