| | Another id please This bird has been resident around our gardens for the last couple of weeks ,preying on young sparrows etc. Could someone please identify for me. Many thanks. |

| | | Re: Another id please Yes its a Musket, it looks like you got pretty close. They seem to be on the increase. Rescued 4 up to date this year, one even got its self trapped in a bathroom though most seem to crash into patio doors.

| | | Re: Another id please Thanks for your replies . Yes got quite close to it . It didnt seem to mind much just kept on eating. My wife caught it eating a sparrow 3 feet from our back door too. We do seem to have a glut of young birds around here this year .Nice sight to see in the garden anyway.
