| | Help needed with blue tit chicks and negligent adults I have a nest box with blue tit chicks, adults have been very active for 2 weeks feeding in an out, over the last few days I have hardley seen the adults and thought they had been abandoned. I saw the adult again last night and heard some noise from the nesting box....is this normal or should I open the nest box to see what is going on and see if I can rear the chicks until they fledge ?? Or should nature just take its course, any help would be helpful |

It is illegal at this time of year to mess around with any kind of nest, i'm afraid you'll have to wait untill october before you can look inside. Untill then, you're going to have to leave it. |
