| | | Welsh Pied Flycatchers and Wood Warblers Hi there bird people  Just thought I'd write about some of the birds I saw at Lake Vyrnwy and Harlech last thursday since I tend to reside in the wildflower forums
Wondered if anyone else had been near there recently because I was pretty chuffed to see male Redstart, male Whinchat, male Pied Flycatcher, Wood Warbler and 3 Cuckoos - all within 10 metres of me! (not at once I must add).
Really impressed with the birdlife up there...

Vrynwy is a brilliant reserve,it's been some years since we visited but enjoyed it thoroughly! |

I reckon everyone should pay the area a visit and if you go onto the high moors... Merlin, Hen Harrier, Black Grouse and Red Grouse can be found (as shown on Springwatch of course).
