All of them!  Plus as many others as possible - the greater variety of seed types the greater variety of bird species. |

Surely it depends on the consumer! If Goldfinches were my fave, then Niger seed would be preferable, Bullfinches and Sunflower Hearts...

All the birds love the sunflower hearts, even the gold finches. They don't touch the Niger seed now they have discovered the sunflower hearts. I am getting through two feeders full a day at the moment. |

I've never bought sunflower hearts before, but the birds especially the green finch are loving the black sunflower seeds I put out for them, never saw them in my garden till I put that in the feeders! |
