| | | Re: baby starling? It's not that old - only been out the nest a matter of days or up to about 3 weeks-ish - going by general breeding times of Starlings. It should begin it's post-juvenile moult in June/July when it will gain it's spotty adult plumage. |

i have put water in the box with it and im going to put cat food in too, any specific flavour? (we have rescued hedgehogs before and they prefer chicken!)
hopefully its just the 'toe' thats broken and not the whole leg. That should be fixable i hope? it doesnt seem to be in shock but i havnt checked it for about an hour now i think i should leave it until the morning |

| | | Re: baby starling? sadly it didnt make it through the night it had tried to eat the food i think but it must have had internal injuries or the shock killed it.
