This Pied Wagtail has nested on one of our local fishermans lobster boat. They are a hardy bunch and I was really surprised to hear that he has been tied up a few weeks just to let the young fledge. Just shows the image that all the fishermen around me are hard hearted is not totally true. The nest is in the wynch that I have circled in red.   |

Pied Wag's are great nesters - a colleauge of mine was telling me the other day that in 30 years of nest recording he has yet to see a Pied Wag nest in a natural site! | | |
