The Swan & cygnets are now safely on the way to the vet's for treatment, The adult bird is thought to be the male and apparently there are some photo's available from next week!

The authorities arrived within 20 minutes of the phone call and captured the cygnets first then the cob.
Apparently the 3 cygnets were unharmed but the cob was badly gashed and in a bad way.....fingers crossed that he'll be fine once treated.
