| | | Flying Green Woodpecker I was watching for Marsh Harriers to appear when suddenly this GWP flew across in front of me. Luckily, I had set my camera for flight shots and was able to capture these two pics.
This is a good spot for GWP being around a disused gravel pit where the soil is sandy and stony, and a good place for ants.

That second shot it looks like a low flying jet fighter. 
They have an undulating type of flight.
