I had a brilliant day out on Sunday, I visited Craig Y Nos country park with the intention of getting some Dipper shots, and I was lucky enough to see these guys as well!
It's only the 3rd time I've ever seen one, let alone get reasonable photos, so as you can imagine I'm chuffed to bits

. They were using a nest box in the woods, and didn't seem to notice the ginger girl lurking in a nearby rhododendron (unlike a few other bemused human visitors who just looked at me oddly and wandered off

).
I'm definitely going to go back there on a quiet morning, preferably not on a bank holiday as it was very busy!! My chances of seeing Dippers were totally scuppered by rock hurling children in the river for most of the day, although they did emerge late in the evening when the crowds had gone home. I also prefer to lurk in bushes with a camera when people can't see me doing it!!
