Hi everyone,
Have found a nest of baby rats in the garden. Currently just using a bird table and getting mostly pigeons, magpies and starlings using it.
Have just bought a bird feeding station in the hope of attracting smaller birds. Am wondering if perhaps taking down the bird table temporarily and placing the new station in a different area of the garden may alleviate the problems of fouling, food being spilt onto floor, rats, and the bigger birds particularly pigeons?
Has anyone had similar problems, do you think a station alone would help me to attract only smaller birds and hopefully mean less fouling, seed mess and rodents?
Thanks for your help!
