| | | Stocking up for Winter Here is a link to a photo I took showing the marsh tit taking seed from the feeder to hoard elsewhere.
Marsh tits and nuthatches do this on a regular basis in autumn. As long as there is a good supply, you may notice these birds coming to the feeder, taking as many seeds as possible and flying off elsewhere, then returning again quickly and repeating this action. http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/ga...php?i=3435&c=5 |
