| | | Starlings Hi Everyone
I have had a pair of starlings nesting in my gutter for years now but not many sightings of any other starlings. Anyway today my garden is so noisy and I can seriously say there must be at least 35 starlings in my trees. They're having a right noisy time - this has never happened before anyone got any reasoning.
Perhaps because its Bank Holiday they thought they would visit my garden
There not here for any food because there is none out at all.
Any suggestions!!! |

| | | Re: Starlings Thanks Gill
I've just been back out and even though its raining they are still here (nearly 4 hours now). I've had a good listen and it does sound as though there are some youngsters screaching.
I don't mind them but if I had to sit outside for a long period I think the noise level would damage my hearing!!! |

| | | Re: Starlings We don't have any nesting in our garden but they are constant visitors zooming to and fro and, as you say, making a heck of a racket.
We went to the next village this afternoon. I took my granddog out for a walk and the story was just the same there.
It seems, locally, to be avery good year for starlings.
