Variety on my feeders

Since I started feeding nuts, fatballs and seeds though I've attracted tits (blue, long-tailed, coal, great), chaffinch, siskin, greenfinch, dunnock, goldfinch, greater spotted woodpecker, robin, and even a blackbird hanging on the fatball feeder or pecking at the nuts. Is it unusual for woodpecker and blackbird to hang on fat ball and nut feeders?

Not at all unusual for a woodpecker - my fat blocks take a constant hammering from our resident ones. But an unusually agile blackbird, I'd say. I have occasionally seen them trying to balance on a fat block holder, but they are not often very successful. Even the magpies will have a go.

Many species seem to feed from these types of feeders once the behaviour has been learnt.
