The weekend starts on friday

i could have put this on the Wagtail nest thread but i thought i would start the long weekend early


then on my morning dog limp (football injury) more Sedgies than you can throw a stick at, no pun intended


must try to get closer tomorrow, then off to Martin Mere, where a surprise Sanderling dropped in at a safe distance, of course, i am sure there is a better pic on the Digiscope pics, i did take a short video of it and i would put a link of it on my blogger page if only i could find out how to link back to WAB, anyone any ideas?



Finished off at Mere Sands with a nice Chiffchaff/Willow Warbler, take your pick but i put what i think, first

Excellent day, and i was cursing myself on the way home for wasting a third of my life not doing this more often but with a bit of luck and good friends i can make up for lost time
