Just finished watching the formula1 one, came down stairs and saw blue tits vigorously flying around the garden. Went out into the garden and found 2 blue tit juveniles nestled beneath the plants.
Heard a bang from my greenhouse. A baby bird at flown the nest and crash down. And 5 minutes after that, we watched another baby bird flop from the nest hole down to the undergrowth.
Now there are several juveniles together being fed by parents. But what I was wondering, is when will they be strong enough to fly?! I am sitting by the patio doors watching everything. Even though they are very cute, I need them to fly away for my nerves (I've already been out with a class of water for the local cat!).
Any ideas of a time frame, if they might fly away today?
Cheers
John
