| | | Re: Immature Gulls for ID please These aren't the shots I'd prefer for identification (a good view of the upper side of the wings and tail would help) + I would prefer to be able to get an idea of size and structure against other gulls, but I'm going to go for the following;
1+2. Great Black-backed Gulls (number 1 in particular has a huge beak that can only belong to this species).
3. Lesser Black-backed Gull (could possibly be Herring, but I would expect a Herring to show some pale colouring at the base of the bill, + probably lighter plumage).
4. Could be a Yellow-legged Gull, or perhaps a Great Black-backed Gull without a particularly heavy bill.
