I was at Great Gonerby services on the A1 on Monday. The rooks there have learnt that the bins are a good source of food and people in cars will feed them, but I saw some bird behaviour that I’ve not seen before.
A small bird (sparrow I think, but as I was driving out at the time, I’m not sure) flying into and hopping around the radiator grill of a stationary car. I assume it had learned that cars have insects attached to the radiators.
Anyone else seen this happening?
