Recently I had the great experience of stumbling on a wild barn owl in a country lane that proceeded to pose for photographs so close to the car that I couldnt believe it and then flew up and down the hedge row by the side and even caught a vole and sat eating it in full view it was amazing and I would love to see another but think that may be one of the few times I ever get the chance to spend so long observing one so closely in the wild. They are so beautiful
