Long eared owl photo



This shot was taken at Carlton marsh in S. Yorks and sent down the line to me, so I thought I'd post it for us all.

Just wish I could get pied wagtails to stay still long enough to get shots like that, they are little tinkers and won't stay still.

Known as Digiscoping. Can get subjects at a far greater distance than with the a usual lens on the camera, but it is rarely as sharp as with an ordinary lens. Also takes a lot of getting used to, so I have been told.
