Bird ID Please
Yesterday I saw a first ever bullfinch by the garden feeders which was fantastic.

However today I have seen another bird In the village street and am not sure what it is. All I can say is it was about the size of a sparrow and black all over with red tail feathers.

Any ideas please?

I agree, Black Redstart. It's quite a common urban bird on the Continent (known as the "House Redstart" in Germany).
