| | My first Garden Warbler despite the weather i went out birding today and was rewarded with this little chap a garden warbler,
it was taken at Martin Down in Hants in between showers!
todays sightings also included;
sedge warbler,whitethroat,heron,little egret,little ringed plover,yellowhammer,redshank,tufted duck,little grebe,swallow,sand martin,ringed plover and greylag geese to name but a few plus loads heard but not seen,
just goes to prove you dont always need good weather to go out birding |

| | | Re: My first Garden Warbler That's a nice selection Keith and yes, you don't need good weather but it certainly helps when you get sunny days

| | | Re: My first Garden Warbler How on Earth did you manage to get those shots (he says jealously ) There are a number of Garden warbler breeding on a gorse bank a couple of hundred yards from our house, but all I've got so far are blurred distant snaps just before the little blighters flit to their next perch. They never stop moving for me!!

| | | Re: My first Garden Warbler Well done Keith, great shots. I love the song of this warbler - it's so mellow and rich.
Sounds like you had a great day
