Just be grateful that you have a police force that wont execute you if you disagree with them. I am appreciative that we have a force like them- you'd notice if they were absent. I support them. |

Why do people do these things? When I was growing up we were taught to appriciate wildlife and respect it. I'd kill my daughters if they done anything like this. |

Theres an ever increasing lack of discipline and respect in the UK, and not just from youngsters. Makes you wonder where it will all end.
We complained about youths with air rifles in the Uk, can say the police acted swiftly. |

| | Re: This kind of thing just sickens me... It makes you wonder what sort of mentality they have? Do they get a "buzz" from doing this kind of thing? Where I used to live, the back lane had Hawthorns all the way along and several blackbirds and a song thrush nested there. I had to physically restrain a couple of 12 year old idiots -girls- from tipping the nests out, for the fun of it. When I asked them why they were doing it, they just shrugged and said they were bored!! Bored? I felt like nailing them to the nearest tree. Still, I suppose I was lucky they didn't report me to the police for daring to put my hands on them, to drag them away from the nest. They had destroyed two - one had tiny chicks and the other, four eggs. The adult birds were going barmy. |

Shame that many adults have missed out on that education, and so they never teach their children that respect. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
