Wheater ????

Hi Guys,

I'm currently on holiday in Mull and having problems ID'ing this little chap.

I think it's a Wheater, can you confirm this for me please.

Sorry the photos are really poor quality but a combination of poor light, high ISO, high zoom and unsteady hand all came into play !!!!!

Looks like a Wheatear to me Ed. Hope you're enjoying Mull - have you seen any Sea Eagles?

Woodman, Hedge Witch, thanks for confirming the Wheater.

We only arrived yesterday so not seen any eagles as yet

but plenty of time still left.

Last night we sat watching a Sea Otter eating crabs and at the same time a Barn owl flew right over the top of us

, we didn't know which way to look !!!!!

I saw my first Wheatear two weeks ago at Flamborough Head in Yorkshire and was estatic, came back to Derby and now have 5 or 6 a the local reserve, typical!

Hope you have a great time spotting on Mull, enjoy
