I'm sorry to hear that ((HUG)). I agree with Kayleigh - you weren't to know what was going on with that chick. It's sad but at least it's another thing you've learned to look out for with future rehabs

Thank you guys for your encouragement and being sensible, I know it could easily have ended up the same with mum and yes, I won't be making that mistake again.

On a lighter note, we had a call from the vet today to say could we take a young Raven...guessing it was a mistake, I didn't let myself get too excited....it's an adult jackdaw with a dodgy wing

Sad that the bird has been injured but...ooh I envy you as they are one of my favourite birds!!
