| | | Cuckoo Forgive me my excitement but earlier on when I was out in the garden doing the mundane task of getting in the washing I could hear a cuckoo. I knew it was fairly close, a lot closer than usual when all of a sudden the thing flew over my head whilst cuckoo-ing! I had never realised they flew and cuckoo-ed at the same time (how stoopid am I?).
Ross is gutted as he's at his girlfriend's and a cuckoo is one of the birds on his 'to see' list  .

I've only seen one, also flying over my head &, like you, didn't realise they flew & cuckooed at the same time so you're not alone!
