| | | First Grasshopper Warbler Not seen , but heard, up at Lochwinnoch this weekend, couldn't manage to locate it for a picture, great weekend in spite of that failure and managed to get some good pictures which i will post when i have sorted them out, might try for the elusive warbler this weekend up near anglezarke reservoir as there are some Redstarts around the same area, so if anyone sees me galumping about, be kind and point me in the right direction
Frank

| | | Re: First Grasshopper Warbler Hi. We were at RSPB Blacktoft Sands last Sunday and they'd had Grasshopper Warbler. Unfortunately, we didn't see or hear it. Brilliant sightings of Marsh Harriers, Avocets, Black Tailed Godwit and some lovely Gadwall. I do love Gadwall! We only stayed a couple of hours and it was so windy, little birds were rather scarce. There was lots of stuff on the board though. Cheers. |

| | | Re: First Grasshopper Warbler Yes I had one two weeks ago. Only got a slight view of it. Amazing how such a small bird generates all that noise. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
