There are usually lots of swallows swooping around my house and building under the neighbour's eaves each year. But they still haven't arrived this year (Cambridge). Isn't it getting a bit late for them to come? Might they still arrive or is it more likely they've decided to set up home elsewhere, or worse, perhaps something has happened to them on their way here? It just seems odd for so many to simply not appear. |

Have seen one swallow or maybe swift flying in the Stoke on trent area.

We've got quite a few in Derbyshire, and just been away to the Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland and there were plenty there too.

Swallows and House Martins here in north Dorset, but not yet heard or seen a Swift....or a Cuckoo, but that's another matter entirely! |

I have seen swallows and house and sand martins for over a week. Different part of Cambridgeshire, perhaps.
