Honey Buzzard spot

Seen this morning at 9am flying over Carlton Marsh in S Yorkshire by my brother in law.

Good spot for this bird so far North, I thought they were restricted more or less to the general area of the New Forest.

If you're in Devon, keep your eyes peeled for the Welsh breeding Honey Buzzards returning South.

They've bred as far North as the Highlands of Scotland for close on twenty years!

Hi Steve I certainly will, we do occassionally get your red kites crossing over onto Exmoor.

There are a few pairs breeding in Norfolk too .... I am not sure that I should say exactly where on an open public forum.

2 over Stiffkey,Norfolk and one seen in Essex this afternoon.

I think the Honey Buzzard location in Norfolk seems to be very well Known Richard.........i have never seen it hidden unlike some other types.
