Dipper
Close to home, this dipper is one of a pair that nest beneath a bridge over the River Spey. Monday to Saturday and they are constantly in close company with the many fisherman that frequent the bank, and are extremely tolerant. But on Sundays, when no fishing is allowed, it's their day of peace - apart from a single photographer!! The river is fairly low at present, which allows them to use this rock - one of several favourite perches around the bridge.




(Don't know what particular beastie he's caught above ??)
