| | | Swan Rescue Spent most of today getting this young Swan back where he belonged; he'd crash landed on a road near me and then sat down on the pavement and refused to budge. After 2 hours the RSPCA appeared and after a chase round the front garden it was 'bagged' with the help of a neighbour and taken down to the river where he swam away strongly

| | | Re: Swan Rescue Well done, Robin  I remember reading somewhere that swans are prone to crash landing on roads after it's been raining and the sun is shining, which apparently gives a Trompe l'oeil impression of a glimmering lake below from a bird's eye view! |
