The Great Tits are in fact Coal Tits! Yes, they do get through the fat balls but thats no problem when we get 8 for £1. When can we, in Aberdeenshire, expect the young to take off? I have been very lucky for the past few years and witnessed them leaving the box but always forget to write down the date.
Where can I read about box cams?

Coal Tit.....Breed May-June. Eggs 7-12. Incubation 14-16 days. Fledging period 16-17 days...Broods 1....
