| | Unidentified bird, Hi Folks,
We were sitting at our meal at 5pm to-night and this bird flew from out of the Camelia into the cherry tree , I thought that it was a wax wing, grabbed the camera and managed to get 2 pics through the french door window so I appologise for the poor quality,I dont think it's a waxwing anymore because of the tail, but it did have a good stand up crest on it, Yellowy throat and bars on the wings, as well as the blackish face, would appreciate any help on this please,
Cheers

Nice to know they are still around There were some reported at Wallington Hall just down the road from me (well, 20+ miles) but I didn't get the chance to get down to see them. Chances are I'll have to wait until the winter months once more |
