| | | Unidentified Bird? Hello All,
See this bird in my park most mornings while walking my dog, swoops from tree to tree low to the ground and is a lovely brown colour. This is the best picture i can get from my phone. Does anybody know what this is? |

| | | Re: Unidentified Bird? There are lots of kestrels in the area but i am pretty sure this is not because i have never seen it hover and has quite a large wing span with striking light brown markings underneath. |

| | | Re: Unidentified Bird? I would have to say that it looks like a kestrel to me as well. Some don't spend too much time hovering but prefer to perch and swoop. |

| | | Re: Unidentified Bird? 100% Kestrel. They can be quite surprising in size, they're not all tiny birds. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
