Bird Identification and Norfolk Visit

Hi All, returned from my weekend trip to Norfolk with a query, sorry! I'm thinking a Dunnock but can't say it really sounded like one so thought I'd ask your opinions.


the just another few that I'm quite pleased with. The first being a Robin who with his mates decided to stalk us!

Then a cheeky little Chaffinch

and the one I'm really pleased with is this Snipe, a first for me


thanks to those who suggested possible sites for me to visit. I ended up at Snettisham, NOS' Bird Observatory at Holme and finally Titchwell Marsh where I had a fantastic day and even managed to see a couple of Marsh Harriers and Bearded Tits, although the B Tits wouldn't stay still enough for me to get a snap. Obviously a weekend wasn't nearly long enought so I'm planning the family camping trip now............ to the Sandringham site, they can go cycling, I'll go to the reserves again

The first one does look like a Dunnock to me. Sounds like a good trip.

Sounds like you had a great time, I love Norfolk and planning a trip soon. Cley Marshes and Titchwell are my favs.
