At first there was one now have 2 over the moon

starting to come quite regular now to the feeder its seems to be a fight
between them and the Siskins first come first served

Good to hear Bill.

We used Niger seed to attract them into the garden, that worked well.

We then introduced sunflower hearts, they eat them so quickly we have to refill the feeder every two days, they hardly touch the Niger seeds now.

Let's hope they invite a few more friends into your garden.

Like Dave, because we feed sunflower hearts,we have over 30 Goldies now.They are common here but lots of wild nyger (thistle seed)in the fields.

I started off with a couple when i first moved here last March so there you go, soon you will be inundated

Hello!

I started off with 2 goldfinches at the sunflower seeds - I bought them some nyjer seed feeders and the most I managed to count at one time was 16! Also managed to attract a pair of siskins too. But the our goldfinches will not only eat the nyjer and the sunflower seeds, but also the chopped peanuts. At least they're varied!
