| | | Bird Cam success Yesterday I had my first visit from either a blue tit or great tit and an egg!!
This morning she visited to turn her egg and plump up her nest, much to the amazement of my 4 year old daughter.
Is this really early?
So excited now as last year the birds avoided the new box with camera in preference for their old faithful letterbox.
Have moved the camera and it seems to be the right thing to have done.
This was a birthday present from my partner Jan 2008...... Now it feels like my birthday again.

| | | Re: Bird Cam success Hi Hobble, well done I've bought one of these birdboxcams for my OH for his birthday in a couple of weeks time, but panicking a bit because I can't seem to encourage any birds into the garden, let alone hope that they might set up home in it! Might just have to buy a little something extra to go with his present ..!
Not sure if you've seen this thread, you might like to take a look as several wabbers are reporting back on their birdboxcam successes : Your Camera Nest boxes

| | | Re: Bird Cam success I already am! Beats watching normal television any day, far more interesting.
Really cold and windy today, have just put out more fat balls for the parents.

| | | Re: Bird Cam success I had a blue tit start building a nest in one of my camera boxes two weeks ago, but she gave up the effort after a day, and has not been back.
Make sure you put out a good supply of live mealworms once the eggs hatch. It'll give them the best possible start in life. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
