| | | Birds Breaking into My House - Help! I have a cabin in the countryside that i rent out as a vacation home. About once a month, the renters arrive to find a bird inside the locked home, usually dead. No one has ever seen a bird come in through an open door or window, and the birds don't ever seen to show up inside while the house is occupied. They seem to break in between renters, get trapped in the house, and poop and fly around until they expire in a couple of days. We've looked all around the house, inside and out, and can't find any place they can be getting in. I don't believe that they are coming in by the chimney, since at times when I found a dead bird inside the home the chimney glass door is been closed . Short of filling the entire house with smoke, and looking for a leak, does anyone have ideas on how to find the way their getting in? Please Help! |

| | | Re: Birds Breaking into My House - Help! Hi Kevin and a warm welcome to WAB. I think there was a similar thread not too long ago. Birds usually come in via the chimney or possible get in under the eaves.
