| | | Feeding station Quite a bargin in my book. B&M who have moved into the former location of Woolworths have a bird feeding station for £9.99.
The dapper white bird house in front of it isn't included (Christmas present from my sis) but it does block out a water dish platform. |

| | | Re: Feeding station Similar to mine tWITCH but those green netting fat balls are a no no and the water dish underneath the feeder table is always a bad idea as it soon fills up with bird droppings and discarded seed, that reminds me, i must get a separate bird bath cum water dish

| | | Re: Feeding station Thanks I'll move that tomorrow. I do fish out droppings from the seed tray daily. What do I need to do different with the fat balls? |

| | | Re: Feeding station A great bargain tWITCH! Looks good! I would replace the fatball and peanuts in the netting with proper feeders for them, much safer for the birds! Love the bird house, you have a very kind sister!

| | | Re: Feeding station I've had to clean the bird house of food regularly as not one single bird has ventured in it! Still hopeful though. So should I do away with peanut bags and fatball bags and use wire feeders instead for peanuts and fat balls? |

You don't have to buy the expensive ones! Your feeding station being high should hopefully keep squirrels at bay, that is if you get them in your garden!
See if B&M are selling the feeders! |

| | | Re: Feeding station I have a wire feeder
but get this... it's in the wash! It looked a bit grim so it's in a bucket soaking. That's the peanut sorted but what is the best feeder for fat balls?
Many thanks to all on this thread for the helpful advice. x |

This one seems quite reasonable and the seed prices are quite good too, must check them against my current supplier
