Speaking of net fat ball feeders, my house and tree sparrows won't go near proper fat ball feeders for some reason, yet always feed from the net ones. I haven't had one trap a foot so far (touch wood) as I hang them from the top of my fence so they use that as a perch as opposed to hanging from the net. |

Thanks for that comment PAM M. I have now moved the water dish and moved the nuts into a now clean wire feeder.
With regards to your comment Bunny82 about the fat balls I'm now wondering if I've ever seen anything on them other then Starlings, who just stand on the frame work and lean over!
