First Redpolls!!!!

It's all kicking off here!! Came back from the garden centre earlier and saw 2 little birds scoffing the spilled Nyger seeds on the tray under the feeder, got the bins out for a closer look to see that they were Redpolls!! The first I have ever seen ever let alone to have seen them in the garden!!

Just had a quick look in my Gardman wild birds spotter's guide to see how many points I would get but they aren't in there.............Lol

To be honest I'm not so sure now that they were Redpolls, I think they may have been Linnets which I too have never seen so will have to keep an eye out to see if they return and get a better look.

either way, i've never seen either of them in my garden, you lucky so and so!
