I see Sand Martins are being reported in Bucks this week so keep your eyes open folks as we have southerly winds for the w/end so you never now what'll turn up......tis a grand time of year!  |

We've got these reported in the Newport area of Wales as well. Not in large numbers only singles or a few pairs - but pretty exciting nonetheless  |

that's a trip to local sanctuary for me then, there were plenty there last year so i'll keep my fingers crossed for this year too |

i was visiting marbury cp, today ruth, and looking out over haydens pool (spelling) i noticed the sand martin bank, it was being topped up with sand as we watched over the pool,
ps. no green woodpecker though, will try again soon.
