We have been blessed with a Song Thrush singing his heart out over the past few days.
One of his perches is in the apple tree in next door's garden. Despite his proximity, he has proved very difficult to photograph. Either the light was very wrong, or he was pretty obscured by foliage.
It is a dull and misty morning today but that did not stop him from performing. I was able to get these reasonable shots in the circumstances.
Another harbinger of Spring....

I'm sure that we have one of these in the garden.
But then i always get the two thrushes confused  |

Fabulous pictures. I love the sound of a Thrush in full song.
I have one that sings at all hours of the night, I lay awake listening to him/her for hours. |
