Mystery Pigeons

Sorry no pics. In the garden today two pigeons.almost exactly the same
markings/colour, dark body with dark green necks much slimmer than woodpigeons, larger than feral, with very prominent white nose band
looked in guides they don't really match anything. To recap I am convinced they were not feral..

Sound like they could be either Stock doves or juvenile wood pigeons.

Thanks for your replies...I looked further and, pigeons have seven classes of
morph, blue bar,red bar,checker,red,spread,pied and white, the ones that we saw would come under spread....They we large but finely drawn so not stockso there...thanks again wabbers
