Managed to get some better images....

Of the female Blackbird in my garden this morning, trouble is she is really timid and the male keeps chasing her off the food i put out.


Camera, G1 and 45-200mm kit lens.

Thanks Nick, i just love the way she watches me through the window as i'm watching her.

OT, but i cant wait for my conservatory to be built soon as it will put me right out there with the birds, didn't think i would persuade my wife to spend the money so i could get closer to them.

When you get your conservatory built, if you have a scope set it up in your conservatory! It is great seeing the finer details of garden birds! I was amazed at the rich brown eyes the Dunnock has! A lovely bird that is sometimes underwatched.

Those are stunning images of your Blackbird Mark!
You'll get some super views as Pam says when your conservatory is built.....i've a small birdbath right in front of mine and it's lovely to sit and watch the comings and goings at such close range!
