Bird ID please.
Ok, so don't laugh , i have great difficulty telling a female Blackbird from a young mail and vice-versa.

When i took this pic this morning the bird was in complete shadow so i couldn't see the markings that after PP i can now see, so is this a Blackbird or as i'm now thinking a Thrush, help!!

Female Blackbird which is from the Thrush family.....

Mistle thrush and song thrush both have a much paler breast, with even more distinct spots!

a good rule is - if you arent sure it's a mistle/song thrush, it isn't
(as mentioned) the pale and speckled breast is unmissable if you are looking at one of the thrushes i mentioned
