| | | Bird Song ID Please This morning I could here a bird in the conifer tree but could not see it.
May be a long shot but as its song was not elaborate can someone ID it.
It was just a succession of 5 peeps with the middle one slightly longer than the others, so:-
Peep, Peep, Peeeep, Peep, Peep.
Its probably one of the regular common garden visitors but I have looked at the RSPB website but could not ID it.
Thanks. |

| | | Re: Bird Song ID Please Two guesses by the fact it was in a Conifer... Crested Tit or a Crest; either Gold or Fire. I'd guess the Tit. |

| | | Re: Bird Song ID Please my guess if it was very high and 'thin' sounding, goldcrest, firecrest or treecreeper. |

| | | Re: Bird Song ID Please Thanks for replies, have definitely seen crested tit, tree creeper and gold crest here so I will listen again to calls on RSPB website.
Was listening to the bird this afternoon so it is staying around and I hope to see it soon.
Mind while I stood outside listening a sparrowhawk did a fly by, past the bird feeding stations, so hopefully it will still come back another day! |

| | | Re: Bird Song ID Please ...it should
Maybe when you hear it next you could take several photos of the tree on full resolution at wide-angle then look at it on your computer to see you can find it?
