At last had camera to hand just in-case and lo and behold not dissappointed it turned up again and has been every day,yes the Siskin 
then had another surprise visitor this Song Thrush 
glad to have camera at hand

Lovely shots, male Siskins are gorgeous. I've been hearing a Song Thrush in the mornings this last week and I saw one on Sunday at Fairy Glen, one of the RSPB reserves on the Black Isle.
It would feel like spring apart from the snow on the gound at the moment. |

Very nice Bill they are a lovely little bird. I had them visiting the feeders last year but no luck this year. |

Nice shots Bill. I've had Siskins visiting my feeders last year and again this year - currently visiting regularly. No luck this year however with Goldfinches for some reason - last year visiting with the Siskins no problem.
